Selection Process

Application Review

  • Once received, your application will be reviewed by the Executive office to ensure that all criteria are met. Please find below the selection criteria for being part of the ASCENT Ecosystem
    – Key Decision Maker – The applicant should be the Key Decision Maker of the organisation.
    – Turnover – Following is the Turnover criteria for the last three years for organisations to be part of ASCENT
    Services – 1 cr and above
    Manufacturing – 5 crs and above
    – Years of Incorporation – Organisation should have at least 3 years of existence
    – Growth Model – The enterprise should have a proven and scalable business model

Short Listing

  • Upon shortlisting of your application, you will be called for a Group Interaction and Personal Interview at the nearest Chapter to further explore your interest in ASCENT

Orientation, Your Story and Personal Interview

  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a Group Interaction, Your Story Session and a Personal Interview Round.
  • Each entrepreneur/leader will get an opportunity to share their journey with a Selection Panel (comprising of ASCENT Executive Team and Governing Council Member)
  • Personal Interview will be conducted by the Selection Panel with the objective to gauge the entrepreneur’s aspirations and growth readiness, commitment, willingness to learn, share and collaborate with fellow entrepreneurs and leaders.

Selection

  • Based on a cumulative assessment, the Selection Panel selects entrepreneurs and leaders as ASCENT Members. Once selected, new members are either placed in Mumbai, Chennai or an All India Chapter in an existing Trust Group or a completely new Trust Group of 8-10 business entrepreneurs and leaders from non-competing diverse industries is created. The true value proposition of ASCENT banks on the sustainability and commitment of the Trust Groups. To maintain this commitment, every new member undergoes an orientation to align them with the values of ASCENT and the Trust Groups.
